Terms

Last updated October 10, 2026

The short version

  • Your data is yours. Using Arix doesn't give us any rights to it.
  • Arix is in beta: it's free for invited offices, and it will keep changing.
  • Arix can make mistakes. Check what matters, and you decide what it may do.

Who these terms are with

These terms are between you (or the business you use Arix for) and Arix One, the company that makes Arix for Mac and Arix One. By using Arix you agree to them.

The beta

All three products are in beta and invite only. During the beta Arix is free for invited offices. Features may change, appear or go away, and we may end a beta license with notice. Beta offices keep a founding price when paid plans start, and we'll give plenty of notice before any charges begin.

Your license

  • Arix for Mac licenses cover one Mac and the number of people in your plan (free Personal, Personal, Team or Site).
  • Don't share, resell or copy a license, or try to get around its limits.
  • If a license ends, nothing on your Mac is deleted. Arix goes back to free Personal until it's renewed.

Your data

You own what you put into Arix and what Arix makes for you. We don't claim any rights to it, and we don't use it to train AI models. What we collect is described in our Privacy page.

Using Arix responsibly

  • Arix can send texts, emails and calls, change files and make GitHub changes when you allow it. You're responsible for what it does on your behalf, so set permissions with care.
  • Arix's answers can be wrong. Check anything important (legal, medical, financial) before relying on it.
  • Don't use Arix for anything illegal, to harm others, or to send spam.

Setup and support

  • Arix for Mac is do-it-yourself: you install it and run it on your own Mac. If you have questions, write to support@arixone.com and we'll help.
  • Arix One is white glove: we set up your private server with you, keep it up to date and look after it for you.

Other services

If you connect services such as AI model providers, Google, Dropbox, Telegram, Twilio or GitHub, your use of them is covered by their own terms and paid for under your own accounts.

Payments

When paid plans start, payments will be handled by Paddle, who act as the seller and handle refunds and tax. Plans renew until you cancel; a cancelled plan runs to the end of the period you paid for.

No guarantees

Arix is provided as it is, especially during the beta. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, lost data or lost profits, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.

Texas law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of Texas.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll say so on this page and, for customers, by email. Questions: support@arixone.com.
